Signs of Life - Reflections on the Gospel of John
This short course aims to give participants a thought-provoking and insightful investigation into the seven signs of Jesus in the first part of John’s Gospel.
The beloved disciple invites us to accompany him as we witness the first part of Jesus’ story. On this journey Jesus performs seven signs: changing water into wine, healing the sick, feeding the multitude, walking on water, raising a dead friend back to life – what did these extraordinary signs mean to the witnesses at the time? What do they mean for us today, both individually and as the community of the Church? Just as these signs transformed the lives of those who witnessed them in Judea, they can have a transforming effect on our lives too.
Each week there will be a presentation followed by an opportunity for questions. Handouts will be provided to help participants reflect further on material covered and these will include pointers for personal reflection & application to participants’ life-situation.
Unfortunetaly, technical issues prevented us to give you the rest of the talk.
