Peter Edmonds SJ spent many years in Africa teaching theology in Nairobi, Kenya. For nine years he was Dean of Studies there.

In 2003, he returned to England. After some months at the Retreat House at Loyola Hall, he moved to Campion Hall, Oxford. Among other apostolates, he taught Biblical Languages in the Theology Faculty. In 2012 he moved to Stamford Hill, a Jesuit community north London and then to Farm Street. He gives study days and retreats based on the New Testament and write steadily on biblical topics. He enjoys the company of Jesuit scholastics from other continents, now that he no longer lives and works in Africa.
