Berenice Chan is an amateur photographer with a passion for contemplative photography. She first came to Mount Street Jesuit Centre in 2014 and since then she has benefitted from participating in various courses within the Spirituality programme including “Deepening Our Awareness of God within us” and “Drawn Into Friendship”. Berenice moved into contemplative photography in 2017 after attending a retreat based on the book “Eyes of the heart: photography as a Christian contemplative practice” by Christine Valters Paintner. Her photography is now an integral part of her prayer life and she is keen to enable others to access the fruits of contemplative photography.
