Faith and Discipleship in the Gospel of John

A black and white photo of an open welcoming hand

The author of John’s Gospel writes so that we may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing we may have life in his name (Jn 20:30-31). To accomplish this, John puts before us various characters who interact with Jesus and who display a range of faith responses. This short course looks at a number of these characters, especially their responses to Jesus, in order to challenge participants to evaluate their own stance regarding Jesus.
