Entering into prayer

Harebells

Sometimes entering into prayer can be hard due to the many distractions around us. Try these exercises before you start a period of prayer, but if they don’t suit you then don’t worry yourself. We all find different ways to be quiet. Simply entering into a companionable silence with God may be all the prayer I want and need. This resource can be printed and use in your personal prayer, or in a faith sharing group.

With thanks to Steve Hoyland and Vron Smith for the exercises.
