... in a cactus

A cactus

I used to go for morning walks of 3 km a day stopping a few minutes midway in a little chapel to say hello to Jesus. But lately arthritis keeps me mostly homebound. It's frustrating to not be able to move around as I used to.

But caring for a small collection of plants gives me great joy. Especially a tiny cactus I received from a very distant young relative last Christmas. Its a most unexpected gift from a most unexpected giver. My cactus struggled in its new home. Luckily, with small droplets of moisture I give and God's steadfast nurturing, my cactus now has new shoots. Thank you Lord for Your breath of life.
