... in British Summer Time
The clocks changed on Sunday morning and signalled for many the time of year when evening strolls become more viable, just at the point when our desire to get out of the house to exercise has probably increased.
The hour's time difference meant that I can now enjoy sunsets more often. During the winter months the sun sets during the working day, but this week for the first time I was able to go out on a week day and enjoy the golden hour. I particularly enjoyed seeing the sun setting between the trees near my house, and the way the spring green of the hawthorn trees was brought to life by the setting sun in the woodland. I enjoyed hearing the birds singing. The way the trees were reflected in the water was very beautiful.
Today I think God for more light in our day and longer evening walks.
