Praying with the Pope in September
Published on 01 Sep 2017

Intention:
That our parishes, animated by a missionary spirit, may be places where faith is communicated and charity is seen.
Pope Francis, September 2017
Prayer
Lord our Father,
you want the Church to be the visible presence of your love
in the midst of humankind.
Every Christian is a disciple sent to announce,
by words and by works,
the good news of the Gospel.
To all parishes
is directed the call to become,
more and more,
places of communication of faith and testimony of charity.
We ask that our parish be this place
and that each of us,
within their own abilities,
be an active member in the mission of evangelizing.

Challenges for the month
To have in the Sunday Eucharist the needs of the parish and its challenges.
Provide spaces for reflection on the effective testimony of members of the parish, in terms of works of mercy that can be done.
Reflect on the appropriateness of the opportunities for formation in the faith that the parish provides, especially in the catechesis of adults, young people and children.
