Jesuit Spirituality Team
The aim of the Jesuit Spirituality Team is to develop the work of Ignatian Spirituality throughout the United Kingdom in collaboration with the Jesuit Spirituality Centres and many other groups and networks engaging in Ignatian spiritual accompaniment.
David Smolira SJ coordinates the work of spirituality and Ignatian Formation across the British Province of the Society of Jesus as the Provincial’s Delegate for Ignatian Formation.
Wider Ignatian Spirituality Mission across the UK
Vron Smith is Coordinator for Mission Development. She has a particular focus on work with parishes, dioceses and organisations.
Steve Hoyland is part of the Jesuit Spirituality Team and his main focus is offering Weeks of Guided Prayer to students and staff through the university chaplaincies and work with young people.
Iona Reid-Dalglish's main focus is on developing and delivering Ignatian spiritualty for Young Adults and on resources linked to ecology.
Sarah Young is Coordinator for Teams and People and has a particular focus on networking with individuals and groups who are engaged in Ignatian spiritual accompaniment. She also works with our partners in mission. Sarah maintains our database of spiritual directors and prayer guides in England and Wales.
Ruth Holgate has responsibility for Training and Formation across the UK. She also works with young adults as part of the Laudato Si' Jesuit Community in Clapham, London.
Elizabeth Harrison is the Coordinator for Resources and Digital Communications, working on digital communications (including Pathways to God), online retreats and resources for formation and training.
Outreach from the Centres
Audrey Hamilton works from the Mount Street Centre in the greater London area with a particular focus on supporting parishes through Weeks of Guided Prayer and Ignatian Prayer Workshops.
Damian Jackson SJ of St Beuno's Jesuit Spirituality Centre works in the Wrexham Diocese supporting parishes through Prego prayer groups. Many members of St Beuno's team also help with the wider mission work as required.
The Ignatian Spirituality Centre in Glasgow offers spirituality outreach work in Glasgow and other parts of Scotland.
