Young Adult Faith Sharing Group (aged 18-35)

Friday 01 Jun 2018 (6:00pm - 7:00pm)
Published on 12 Oct 2017

The Young Adult Group meets every 2 weeks to discuss current issues in the Church or in society with an impact for Christian Communities in the UK or all over the world. A short input is given on a selected topic (which generated debates over the last two weeks: background, key players, quotes, facts and figures.

The group then discusses, raise questions and share faith.

Anyone is welcome to share testimony from their own parish, to inspire others and to be more active into our own networks.

The discussion is open to all without any pre-requisite knowledge or skills. What matters is the desire to engage with the current issues animating the Church at the moment or impact the Catholic Community in the UK or all over the world.

The course aims at making young people aware of the debates within the Church or in society, which impact young Catholics in the UK or all over the world.

Through that understanding, the members will debate in small group, raise their own questions and express their faith.  Empowerment is a key issue: the participants should feel confident to share their ideas within their own network, to make young people’s voice heard and to engage more with their local communities.
