Why am I Worried or Anxious? Ways to Be at Peace
“I’ve lived through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.” (Mark Twain).
Why do we human beings sometimes become excessively anxious? A little worry helps us to get things done but too much can paralyse us and can cause us deep distress. In this workshop, we will look at the causes and effects of too much anxiety. We will consider ways of escaping from the hold that worry can have on us and how we can live happier and more peaceful lives.
