Summer Retreat

Come closer to God and sort out life's priorities.

The Ignatian Spirituality Centre in Glasgow, invite you to enjoy a time of prayer, reflection and sharing with a trained spiritual director.

This retreat is offered anytime during July and August 2020.

Open to all:  This retreat is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 100, men or women, Christian, other religion or of no particular faith.

Time Commitment: We suggest retreats of 4 to 6 days duration. Each day we suggest that you find the time to spend a number of periods, maybe four or five, each of between 20 minutes to an hour, to settle down to quiet meditation, prayer and reflection. The guide will give you suggestions as to ways to meditate and ideas of things to pray about.

Typically you will see the guide online every day for between 30 and 45 minutes. They will listen to how things have gone with you, give you support, and make suggestions where necessary.

Guide's Role: They are not there to judge you, or to try to get you to commit to any particular religion. The guide's role is to help you to profit from the retreat experience and get in touch with your own deeper desires and so find out what really brings you joy, freedom and life.

Initial contact will be made by email, then we suggest either Skype, Zoom or whatever social media platform for face to face communication suits both you and the guide.

No Charge - Donation Basis:  We are making no fixed charge for this retreat, but we would appreciate a donation if you can afford it, which will be shared with your retreat guide.
