Monday 02 - Saturday 07 Oct 2017 (5:00pm - 9:00am)
Published on 18 Nov 2016

Ignatian spirituality is essentially a way to God that faces outward to the world, through discernment, prayer and service.

This two part introductory course offers a foundation for anyone who is either currently in pastoral ministry or intending to engage in it, and who wishes to be grounded in the riches of Ignatian spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises.  The focus will be an exploration and deepening of participants’ understanding and experience of Ignatian spirituality and the ways in which it can help others.  It will include: ways of praying, discernment and decision-making, personal vocation, elements of the course Living and Working in an Ignatian Way and reflecting on being ‘with Christ in Mission’.  The course is divided into two parts this year to enable participants to appropriate material between part 1 and part 2.
